Ready to make pasta carbonara? Let's dive in! Get your ingredients prepped and let's get cooking!
- Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil. Add pasta and cook until tender. Drain and return to the saucepan
- While pasta is cooking, heat oil in a frying pan over a medium/high heat
- Fry bacon pieces for 4 minutes, or until crisp
- In a jug or small bowl, whisk the eggs with the extra egg yolks and add cream and cheese. Season mixture to taste with pepper.
- Add the bacon along with the egg mix to the pasta and gently mix
- Cook while tossing over a low heat for 1 minute
- Serve hot with a sprinkle of cheese and chopped parsley
