Ready to make pie and mash cheat? Let's dive in! Get your ingredients prepped and let's get cooking!
- Follow cooking instructions on pre-made pie
- Peel and dice potatoes, wash and place in a large saucepan of water, add a couple of pinches of salt and bring to the boil, then reduce the heat to medium/high and leave to cook for 30/40 mins, or until when placing a knife in a potato it slides off
- Drain the water from the potatoes and mash them. Add the butter and mix in. Add the cream and continue to mix together.
- Make the gravy mixture and set to one side.
- Now serve the mash onto plates with the cooked pie pouring gravy as desired.
