Ready to make spaghetti bolognese? Let's dive in! Get your ingredients prepped and let's get cooking!
- Place a large saucepan on a medium heat
- Add the diced garlic, onion and carrot and cook until the onion is soft and transparent
- Add the mince to the skillet and brown off. Once browned off pour in the diced tomatoes and passata.
- Add vegetable stock and mix together.
- Add mushrooms and zucchini to the mix.
- Season with salt and oregano.
- Bring to the boil and turn down to simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Toss the cooked spaghetti with the bolognese sauce.
- Serve immediately with grated cheese on top.
- Serve and enjoy!
You can adjust ingredients like wine to taste in the sauce if desired. Let the sauce simmer longer for more developed flavors. So easy and delicious!
